Pia Wilson-Body is the former President of the Intel Foundation and Director of Global Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Impact. She oversaw the Foundation’s approach for achieving impact in alignment with realizing and achieving Intel’s mission and goals.

The Intel Foundation is active worldwide, awarding over $40 million in grants and focused on supporting philanthropic efforts, disaster relief, and STEM education in underserved communities. Ms. Wilson-Body directed Intel’s 2030 corporates strategic goals to increase provides strategic oversight of Intel’s STEM Education and social and equity initiatives.

Prior to her former leadership position, Ms. Wilson-Body held other leadership roles with Intel Foundation as its Executive Director and Director of Greater Americas Corporate Affairs. She made her mark as a thought leader and contributor to Intel in the area of commitment and social impact in underserved communities. Before joining the Intel Foundation, Ms. Wilson-Body also served as the Interim Chief Diversity Inclusion officer. She held other diversity leadership positions, including the Director of Global Diversity, External Relations for Intel. Ms. Wilson-Body played a pivotal leadership role in Intel’s $300m Diversity in Technology initiative. As part of that initiative, she formulated an integrated public education, media, and awareness strategy that utilized traditional and innovative communication mediums and led to Intel being recognized as a global diversity champion and the recipient of several awards.

Ms. Wilson-Body led the design and deployment of Intel’s Veteran’s initiative as part of the White House “Joining Forces” initiative led by former First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden. In 2014, Ms. Wilson-Body was named Working Mother Magazine’s Working Mother of the Year. She was also a contributor to the Center of Talent Innovation (CTI) published research ‘Black Women: Ready to Lead.’

An 18-year Intel veteran, Ms. Wilson-Body has held various leadership positions in corporate affairs, human resources, and employee communications. Before her work with Intel, Ms. Wilson-Body held multiple positions in human resources and business operations with the Chrysler Corporation. Ms. Wilson-Body is a Hudson Institute certified executive and leadership coach. She has integrated her executive coaching into Intel’s work in all the roles she has held and is dedicated to her peers, colleagues, and future leaders.

Ms. Wilson-Body holds a bachelor’s in Economics from historic Spelman College. She was appointed to the Oregon Future’s Commission and is a member of the state of Oregon Investment Council. In addition, she currently serves on the numerous boards, including Chair of the YWCA USA Board of Directors, and former Chair of Portland State University’s Center for Women’s Leadership Board. Ms. Wilson-Body previously served as Jesuit Parent of African American Students Association and Chair for the American Heart Association, Go Red for Women Campaign Bay Area. She is a graduate of the Class of 2020 Emerge Oregon. Ms. Wilson-Body calls Portland, Oregon home. She is married, and together with her spouse, they have raised two amazing adult sons.
